Biggles Works Overtime is the first short story in the sixth anthology of Biggles Air Police short stories entitled Biggles of the Interpol. The anthology was first published in 1957 by Brockhampton. In the anthology, this story is followed by The Man Who Lost His Foot.

Synopsis[]

An experienced pilot appears to have crashed and died during a record breaking attempt but Biggles is sceptical unless the remains of the pilot and the wreckage of the aircraft are properly identified.
