Biggles and the Noble Lord by W. E. Johns was first published in 1969 by Brockhampton and was the second last completed novel to be published. There have been 5 subsequent editions in the English language, with the most recent being the 2013 edition by Norman Wright. The events in the book take place in the late 1960s in Britain and France.

Biggles is after the mastermind of a criminal organization which he believes is responsible for a number of recent large scale robberies. As a bait, he sends Ginger undercover as an Indian princess travelling with a valuable case of jewels. But that would not be the only member of the aristocracy who would turn up in this story.
