De valschermspringers (The parajumpers) was the 11th in the series of Biggles comic strips in the Flemish/Dutch language by the Belgian company "Studio Vandersteen". The comic strip probably first appeared in the daily newspaper De Standaard and was later collected into an album released on 1 August 1967.
De valschermspringers was probably written and drawn by Karel Verschuere although only Vandersteen is credited and never the individual artists.
The events in the story take place in London, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
Synopsis
Biggles meets an old wartime comrade who is down and out and encourages him to join up as a parajumper in the International Air Police.
