Mario

In Biggles Takes Charge, Mario was the head waiter at the country club in Monaco. He was one of two people who knew both Algy and Boris Zarrill at the time when they had played tennis together before the Second World War. Accordingly, when Algy was searching for Boris with Charles Zarrill, he decided to look up these contacts in case they had news of the whereabouts of Boris. Unfortunately for Algy, Mario was no longer at the country club as he had been killed during the war.
