Mr Greuze

In Biggles in the Gobi, Mr Greuze was one of the refugee missionaries whom Biggles was sent to rescue from Western China. Greuze, a Swiss missionary, does not appear in the book in person. He had died before Algy and Ginger arrived at Nan-hu. According to his colleague, Miss Summers, Greuze had been murdered, dying of torture inflicted on him by Colonel Ma Chang.
