Than

In the derivative Vandersteen comic strip Ontvoering in Thailand, Than was a well-known Thai boxer and operative of the Green Dragon gang. After his friend Bopha, another gang operative, had her cover blown by Biggles, she approached Than to contact the Green Dragon for further instuctions. Specifically she wanted to know if she could still perform as a dancer at the Orchid Night Club after Biggles had found out that she was connected to the gang. Than contacted the Green Dragon and then brought her to a rendezvous where a gang operative was supposed to lead them to the hideout of the Green Dragon. It turned out that the operative had been sent to execute them as the gang did not tolerate mistakes. Than knocked the operative out and he and Bopha tried to escape in their car but the operative recovered consciousness and pursued them in his jetpack and killed them.
