Worrals Goes Afoot by W. E. Johns was first published in 1949 by Lutterworth Press. It was the 10th and second last Worrals novel. As far as is known, there has only ever been one edition in English.
In 1970, French publisher Aredit published a two-part comic strip adaptation of the story entitled Les démon des sables in their small format comic series for girls Tina, in issues 27 and 28.
Synopsis[]
Worrals and Frecks are asked to investigate a gun-running operation in the Middle East which is threatening the construction of a vital road through the Sinai Peninsula.
